Brief Intervention Training
The Darlington Stop Smoking Hub delivers free brief intervention training to a wide range of organisations and staff from across the Borough of Darlington who work in the public, private and third sector to enable the provision of brief intervention with smokers as part of their role. Brief intervention involves making the most of an opportunity to raise awareness, share knowledge and get a person thinking about making changes to improve their health and wellbeing. Brief interventions for smoking involve opportunistic advice, discussion, negotiation or encouragement and referral to more intensive support, where appropriate.
If you would like us to deliver free brief intervention within your workplace, or if you would like to access one of our brief intervention courses please contact us on 0800 802 1850 or email us at email@example.com
